Hearth Insights was founded by Cam McAllister, a technology leader with a proven track record in solving complex data fragmentation challenges securely and at scale.

Prior to founding Hearth Insights, Cam was the VP of Engineering at InfoSum. There, he led the technical strategy and the engineering team responsible for creating a pioneering privacy-first data collaboration platform. This platform successfully tackled data-sharing challenges in the demanding AdTech industry, enabling secure analysis without compromising user privacy, and ultimately contributing to InfoSum’s acquisition for an estimated $150 million.

Recognising the parallels between the data silos hindering advertising effectiveness and the critical data fragmentation slowing down vital clinical research, Cam founded Hearth Insights. The mission is clear: apply proven expertise in secure, federated data technology to break down the barriers in healthcare data, accelerate medical research, and ultimately help bring life-saving treatments to patients faster.

Cam’s deep experience in building robust, privacy-enhancing technologies forms the bedrock of Hearth Insights’ commitment to transforming fractured healthcare data into powerful insights securely and with an unwavering respect for patient confidentiality.
